Bonus - a SHORT - starring Jude
My camera (my Iphone) was on it's tripod behind a gate in the barn shooting a Ten Minute SoundScape of the hogs coming in for an afternoon nap. Then this happened.
Jude came in first.
Watch before you read. You will laugh!! 😂
Did you see that? Did you hear the crunch? Jude immediately saw the camera. Leaned all the way over and grabbed the tripod, unceremoniously ripped my gear off the gate and walked off.
No more than TWO minutes into filming, and the video was shut off by its porcine editor who also plays a starring role.
Sick to the back teeth of the secret paparrazi!
I was HORRIFIED when I returned to the barn to find my whole set up GONE. Little twisty tripod - new iphone and all. I kept looking at the gate it had been attached to with my mouth open hoping it would magically re-appear. Jude laid in his bed watching me, looking all innocent like.
Hey Miss C - whatcha up to? Did ya lose something?
I narrowed my eyes at him.
There was simply no way I was ever going to find my phone again especially as I had the sound OFF. And the barn is heaving with dry straw.s Surely he did not EAT it. I looked at Jude again and he looked back. I swear that 400 pound porker raised his eyebrow at me. I sent the hogs outside and began the search. Nothing.
Jude was in the middle of shfting bedrooms so I sifted through a lot of straw. In two pens. Still nothing.
I had to think like a pig. I can do that you know. I remembered that he loved to carry sticks in to his room when he was making his bed. If he thought the tripod was a stick he would put it in his bed, with all the other sticks. So, I walked the long way round to his old bed and soon felt the phone under my foot, buried deep in the straw, with half the tripod still attached. Half. He had been literally lying on my phone with all your notifications still buzzing into his belly; watching me.
Bad Pig.
I still have not found the other half of my tripod.
Have a gorgeous evening.

PS my phone has a rather dramatic scratch through the protective screen cover. Hmm.
