Divine Droplets
Each raindrop whispering the secret to renewal. This is the first rainy day I have spent in Wellington, New Zealand this trip.
And it really is not a lot of rain at all. But gentle. Kind even. And it is dry.
I placed the phone out of the rain, propped on a rock, beneath the shelter of an ancient table in the garden, capturing the light rain almost drifting to the ground. In the gentle patter, birds hush their songs. I don’t know why. But when we hear them sing again - we know the rain has passed.
Ambient.
Is it raining at your place? Did you see the moon last night? Are you a tea drinker or do you like coffee. I am having a cup of tea. Gumboot tea we call it here. I have a busy day ahead. My friend drinks very strong coffees at 5pm and sleeps like a baby. Do you remember the days when we always finished a dinner party with coffee and dessert. Now my friends are like - oh no I never drink coffee after noon - it might keep me awake! HAH!
What season are you in? Here in Wellington, New Zealand, autumn reigns with a gentle warmth that occasionally dips into chill - promising winter. Not yet though. Not yet.
Have a gorgeous day/morning/evening.

Spring rains here. Interesting juxtaposition… fall rain there. It has been such a mild and early spring. Trees and gardens are a week or two ahead of schedule. Soaking it all in.
Spring rains here! Which is wonderful, filling up the lakes and delivering life to the gardens. Very, very green! And actually getting quite warm. Enjoy the cool fall on that side of the world for now. :)
