Ducks in a Frozen Pond . TKG Take Ten

"I'm late. I'm late. For a very important date!" Now relax. Listen to the sounds of the ducks and give your self ten minutes of quiet.

And yes I am late tonight. I always have this out at 5 pm (Central) and I load it on the day but the internet was not co-operating at all. THEN just as I finish the dinner it loads! Typical!

The ducks were so happy when I managed to fix the pump and drain the frozen lines so their pond was back in working order. It is still very cold and water is freezing super fast. The waters in winter become diabolical.

I began TKG Take Ten to share the gentle sounds of the farm with you twice a week. But I am going away for a month. To Australia. Melbourne is very different to Central Illinois! So in the interim on Tuesdays and Thursdays I will read you classic fireside bed time stories beginning with Alices Adventures in Wonderland. Because I still want to offer you some quiet time in this frenetic world.
