FreeBee and Big Jude at Nap Time
Rest and recuperation is the name of the game for a Good Pig. And Free Bee and Jude my rescue hogs are Good Pigs.
FreeBee seems to need more sleep than your average hog. On average a hog will sleep about 8 hours a day. (And then a lot more at night). If they get lots of sleep they are all round just nicer pig-beings. But I find FreeBee sleeping way more often than Jude.
There is a lot of resting going on in this 10 minute window into The Soundscape of the Farmy.
Do you see how Free Bee is resting his head on the bale of straw? The head of a mature hog can weigh up to 50 pounds so I am sure that is a relief!

Your subscription goes towards feeding these fellas! And supporting me to write about designing my own self sufficient and environmentally sustainable life and living to talk about it. So I encourage you and thank you for Upgrading to Paid. Having said that I am very frugal so I totally understand and love you even if you can’t. No worries at all.
With a Paid Subscription under your belt you will get 10 minutes of sounds on the farmy delivered to your inbox at least 5 times a week. Not bad right?
And when I travel you will get those sounds too. Just the gentle calm ones. We need lots of gentle and calm in our lives.
Thank you! Time for me to go and feed out.
