Often my farm stories remind you of when you were a child visiting Aunties farm or your grandmothers garden. Or growing up with your Pa’s cows.
So what about farm sounds. Do they deliver a similar hit? I don’t make clever videos (I am a farmer and a writer not a clever video maker - I leave that to the professionals) so I just set up a static phone camera; collecting 10 minutes of everything except me.
And like my podcast I don’t edit or nothin’.
There is something endearing and almost hypnotic about watching animals. Especially animals who are free to wander big fields but choose to hang out in front of my camera instead.
For this set just imagine you are sitting up in the loft on a bale of hay.
So, below is your Wednesday Farmy SoundScape. SubStack will not let me load more than ten minutes but this footage is exclusively for you.
Although ten minutes on the farm is just for the Wednesday Farmy Club (you can join for $5 a month) I will be back this weekend with my weekly podcast for everyone.
I just love story telling. Any way I can. And I love you for supporting me to do just that.
Take care. Talk soon
