Sitting President Pig
Pigs in the barn! And sitting on command. Come see! Big Jude and FreeBee are in the House! And it is pretty easy to see who rules the roost.
FreeBee is very eloquent though. When FreeBee has something to say he uses all his words. Jude sits beautifully for treats until he decides he is done then he wanders back to his work of organising the barn.
It is Friday and it has been a warm week. When a farmer pauses the first thing she thinks about is the weather. And all the animals have been out today in the fields getting as much sun as they can. The pigs especially lying about like mounds of earth. And now you know that they are seldom quiet so seeing them all sleeping is just delicious.
When I first started the Take Ten series I wondered if I was going to run out of angles or you all might lose interest but this has not happened at all in fact interest has grown and there is always something (or nothing at all) to see and hear. And it all works. And the really lovely thing is that as the seasons go on you will be there to watch the changes too, for ten minutes a day. Snow or storms (there I go with the weather again) - you can go through it all with me.
And for today we are in a warm barn on a warm December day seeing our Sitting Pigs. (I am so glad FreeBee sat for you - he does not often do that!).

Oh those pigs and their noises! Never fails to bring a smile, thank you. Freebee certainly looks fit and well now. I guess we all have days when we’d rather stay in bed! Mind you that barn of yours certainly looks very warm and cosy.
The two pigs are so charming. But what was hilarious was the moment when FreeBee was waltzing away from the water, down the aisle, you might say, and heard you're call "FreeBee"--he stopped dead in his tracks and slowly turned. For treats. An unforgettable moment.
