TKG Take Ten : Friday : Nanny Boo
Nanny Boo the self appointed guardian of all those creatures, bright and small. Caught on camera trying to scare the chickens away from Wai Wai's dinner by looking BIG and glaring at them pointedly.
BooBoo is not allowed to bite the chickens, or growl at them, or hit them with his boxing paws. He knows this. We had to do some training to allow him to even sit by Wai like this - in the past he has taken his guard duties just a little too seriously and then he would be tied with a long string to my pants so he was with me ALL THE TIME.
Punishing does not work (for just about anybody or any animal); change the narrative then apply Close and Busy. For a long time. Works every time.
But Boo really, really does not like the chickens to steal Wai’s food.
Watch right to the end then you will see that when Wai is done Boo is more than happy to help Tima clean up.
What do you think?
Which of the Take Tens was your favorite this week. For me it is this one.
