TKG Take Ten : The Un-Dawn with: TADA! A VoiceOver. Go on Pop in!
Wednesday Morning - The dawn that did not dawn due to heavy cloud. But the birds don't care.
I have made a voice over for you. Have a listen! God, I am such an idiot. I am even laughing at myself.
And if you like it let me know.
Do you see this garden? It looks a bit grim doesn’t it. That’s because it is March. March in Illinois is the longest month of the year. Which feels lie the longest month of my life. It is the month that we all believe should be Spring already. But no. It is not spring. This is the month that teaches us to WAIT. To sit down and just wait.
We are looking at the faerie garden. All that grown is slowly unfurling underground and very soon we will be seeing the plants morphing through the top soil. The faerie garden is a no-mow patch. If someone mows it the faeries will do bad things to him. So Him Indoors promises to be good and not mow it. In the spring this little patch is heaving with bumblebees. Just imagine TKG Take Ten in a field watching the bumble-bees.
This is going to be so much fun!
I thought today how lovely it is that you are following the seasons with me. It feels less lonely out here on the prairies with you with me. Day by day. TKG Take Ten adds the sounds.
Have a lovely afternoon.

I'm curious about the red fire hydrant in the video. Is it functional or is it a unique garden ornament? :-)
It's been a long time since I've heard a robin sing. They don't land in my yard much anymore. I hear the mourning doves a lot though on my summer early morning walks. We also have eurasian collared doves here. They do a who who...whooo call. Always 3, two quick and short and then extend the last who. I can hardly wait for the garden to be full of green and color and bees :)
