TKG Take Ten : Monday : The Meeting of the Minds
As we were discussing in the blog this morning: when it is fiercely cold, like it is at the moment, the chickens gather in groups and cuddle up. This is minus 4. At 2 pm in the afternoon. Cold.
At least the wind has died down. The wind at -12 was dreadful.
Although you cannot hear them, or maybe you can if you listen really closely, there are about 30 starlings in the rafters.
But most sweetly you will see Quacker - slap bang in the middle and not taking any lip from anyone!
Have a gorgeous day!
Cecilia

Here is the Sustainable Sunday letter from yesterday.
I have to laugh out loud the moment Quacker appears.I am so charmed by her. The rooster that sounded so close I don't know but I think I spotted him. He was right next to Quacker against the wall.
Rooster crowed at 6:10. :-)
