TKG Take Ten • Spring. The Trickster.

Tuesday: . I thought I heard a spring bird but it was just a breeze or the tink of a drip of melted snow. A week of sounds. The sounds of melting snow. Tractors. Chickens. Wild bird tweets.

This is shot straight out my studio window. Directly North. With chickens chatting in the background. Can you hear my keyboard. Thesmall sounds of wild birds. Work being done out on the farm. My stomach rumbling. Losing ten pounds is easy if you just don’t eat.

I am going to trim these bushes soon and how long have I been saying that - months probably. I wonder what the wild birds think as the chickens rumble by. Do they make sure their windows are closed and their doors locked and all the children are inside. When they see the mob of chickens and roosters come out to play in the street.
