TKG Take Ten: Friday. Mist and Mud
Here we look out from the Feed Shed. The colour is bleeding out of the landscape as it begins to get colder. And the mist is hanging around.
When it gets really cold this mist will turn to ice. Then things start to get exciting. I hope to be able to capture that for you!
Today there are just barnyard sounds. Sounds of the chooks. Sounds of the starlings. Sounds of the roosters and Quacker the duck.
You have been tuning in to Take Ten daily for the past few weeks, and I’ve noticed how the segments seamlessly guide us into the winter sounds and colors of the fields and the farm yard. Even though no-one is monitoring the camera, it captures a daily snap-shot of the farm — the birds and trees, the mud, the animals and the gradual freezing of the landscape as we sink into a midwest winter.
It's a unique experience to witness the changing seasons up close, and this, I believe, is what makes watching TKG Take Ten so special.
I want to keep this going for years!
