TKG Take Ten : Thursday : That deep quiet when the snow is gathering in the clouds

Let me explain the two tires that LuLu is perched on.

See that huge door, screen left, that looks like a wall? That is the one I was Struggling with this Morning. The door that is. There are two of them. They are huge and attached to the barn with a little track that runs along the top of them. It is not the best arrangement but has been in place now for so long. And when the wind comes up they have the potential to fly out like wings so the tires help keep them in place.

It was warmer today which meant that there is more bird song.

After a bit you will see me walking ever so carefully back to the house. The ground is covered with at least an inch of ice and last night we had a little snow that is disguising the ice. It is quite nasty to walk on.

The main thing I am noticing here in this video is the deep quiet. Just a couple of birds and a rooster and Mr Flowers almost out of sight. (It is a shame he did not decide to camp out in front of the camera, but we never know what Take Ten will capture). Do we!

This quiet feels like a threat. It is a ‘Something is Coming’ kind of quiet.
