TKG TAKE TEN : Tuesday : Sounds of the Sky
I am hauling the imagery quality up a notch. Working on bringing crispier more startling video to you here. There are a few extra steps to this improvement but I am pleased.
Even with my crap internet, I am more than happy with the sound and glorious clarity and colour. Number One 2024 Goal in the works.
Just that pig jogging across the screen is worth it! And the sun came out for the shoot!
Interesting that every time we take a step upwards we look around and see everything we need to do to make the next step even better.
Can you hear the planes overhead? (They are coming out of O’Hare ninety minutes away - by car). Do you ever look at planes racing through the sky and wish you were on the plane. Going somewhere. I have always had itchy feet. I love going places.
‘Hey people up there! I want to be with you!’ The farmer woman says, looking up into the sky.
Though - truthfully, like many of us I want to be everywhere at the same time. There is always someone missing. Always someone I am missing.
As an immigrant, and as the mother of three other emigrants (I have children in California, Australia and Canada and of course back home in New Zealand); It is a hard act to get all my people together.
Which is why I love to farm and love to fly in equal measure.
Have a gorgeous evening.

So lovely...especially the chicken and pig that chose to pay us a closer visit. And the airplanes are constant companions aren't they? I have that same feeling too: where are they going...and are they maybe looking down in my general direction as they pass by wondering as much about us as I wonder about them?
That is a nice improvement in the video quality. I could count the feathers on the passing chicken.
