TKG Take Ten : Wednesday : You have to see this! Prepare to be RELAXED!

When I saw Quacker (our solitary duck who answers to the call DUCKA DUCK!!) having a bath in an icy puddle in the middle of a snowy field I just had to capture this for you.

So, I literally sat down on the bucket I was carrying - full of chook food - and turned on the camera phone.

So sit down on your bucket and spend ten minutes with me.

At the beginning Quacker the duck keeps going in and out of focus - I had to start filming straight away (I did not want to miss this for you so I sat and turned on the video without setting anything up). But I was able to fix it on the fly.

The trouble with hand held is that - well - it is handheld - so there is a little movement PLUS I am sitting on a bucket so Boo thought maybe this would be a good time to lean on me.

Do you hear those tiny duck squeaks of delight?

My greatest fear was that Tima would discover I was sitting on a bucket of FEED. There is no way she would let that go on without comment and a good deal of bashing. She is such a PIG.

But the most amazing thing was that just before the ten minute mark Quacker turned and walked off the screen - exiting Stage Left. As though this were all choreographed! But no. This was not edited. And training duskc is not my forte!
