TKG Take Ten.:The Holiday called Christmas, with Pigs.
It was warm today. Too warm actually. But never you mind. Cold comes tomorrow out here on the prairies which means Miss C needs to help the pigs build good deep warm beds.
Big Jude (the big black Berkshire rescue hog) (thank you for helping support him) LOVES his bed. As you would. And. As I do. You too? I am very partial to a well made bed, too!
Jude is around 400 pounds of loving hog with very sharp teeth. One has to be aware of this. You will see that my movements are always slow and smooth and accompanied by sound. Pigs respond to sound.
But he loves me. Jude that is.
I think I actually could lay down and sleep beside him. Like I used to sleep beside my big fat pig Sheila from years ago.
Maybe Jude just appreciates that I am into bed-making because you know - if you want to change the world - start with making your own bed.
I hope you had a lovely day! On this holiday called Christmas.
It is warm and rainy and wet and poggy today. Though the forecast - and farmers are always looking at the forecast - the forecast is for the cold to descend soon.
We need the cold for the wheat so - I don’t mind. Kind of.
