When we walk up to the top of the hill, which we do every day because we all need to walk every day, I turn and run back down the road for the fun of it and my little friend calls out: I have never seen a Running Grandma!
Cheeky, I say. She laughs.
This vid was captured from the edge of the deck just after dawn. (You can see the deck jutting out like the bow of a boat. Is that your thumb? My little friend asks - um - No.) I do not pretend to be a videographer TKG Take Ten is all about pure sound with pictures. 😂😂
The dawn is not the same here in the city. Not the same as the plains. It still rises in the East though! I look towards the lightening sky. As I orient myself again and again. Turning like a lost compass in the gardens. Searching for the sunrise.
As you hear this Tui and their multiple calls, I will be in the car and on my way to the beach. I have a couple of locations to visit on beaches. We will be facing the west, looking out to sea from the beach, so we will be watching the sunset into the water.
Have a gorgeous day/morning/evening.

running grandma!
A pot pourri of sounds and colors. Lovely! The sounds defy description. It makes me so sad to be so ignorant. About 25 years ago, our nephew met and married a girl from Australia. And of course we were invited to the wedding. But regretfully we did not attend. What a missed opportunity! We maybe could have endured the lengthy flight. Regrets! I've had a number of!
