Turkeys have an unfortunate reputation for ending up on a plate.
Not these turkeys though. These turkeys are for entertainment purposes only.
And. They are entertaining.
I have no idea what kind of turkeys these are because I just bought the ones that hadn’t sold that day but they are a variety of sizes and shades and have very long legs. They look almost caveman like - no that’s the wrong expression. They look like they belong in a cave. Ancient. Neanderthal. Creepy.

What amazing little blighters ( or critters l think you would say). Fabulous home especially when you think about the way commercial turkeys are kept. As a vegetarian l’m delighted they are not destined for the table, but somewhat surprised.
Mmmm, they do look like they'll be delicious later on and will feed a lot of people. :-) Keeping so many animals as pets would hardly be sustainable living.
