After three full months creating content here on SubStack, it appears that I am here to stay (wriggling down into the comfy country seat). SO it is time to properly introduce myself: I am Cecilia.
I adore you, Celi. And I love to look back on the days when my kids were young and we'd drop in on other moms and their broods and think nothing of it. Spontaneously meet at the coffee shop (nothing fancy). Now everything is scheduled and calendared. Ugh, hate that word. Thanks for sharing all this, I love reading about your life.
I so remember the conviviality of bringing up children with friends. My grown up kids who live close by say that if there is a knock on the door it is either me or their dad! They do have lots of friends but social media seems to have stopped the spontaneity of times gone by!

Thank you so much Charlotte - can I share this comment in notes? I think there is a way to do that?
Of course! I thought I checked the box to share when I commented but I’m not yet terribly good at Notes.
Oh you may have. Let me see.

You might be right. Incessant scrolling has a lot to answer for!
