This story. I really enjoyed the first iteration I read it but this, with its additional dimensions goes deeper and higher... and it feels particularly poignant today, ANZAC Day.

I think you are right to believe in angels. Whether it was Claude or some other man who had been stripped to the core by war, he was tasked to preserve you.

No one could explain that Dolly was still with me though my hands were in shreds. An Angel I think.

Accidents like that turn worlds upside down. What started off peaceful and with anticipation, turned into pain and fear in an instant. It leaves scars. Your account in writing it down was riveting. I pictured the events and scene clearly. I do understand how it is fiction and non-fiction at the same time. They blur together into your story. It happens to all of us. Our life stories evolve.

Thank you so much. I am always apprehensive when I push publish! So glad for your support.

I am hoping that by writing a piece every week it will improve my writing to the point where I might write a book but until then it is time to go out and start in the hen house!!
