I enjoyed this very much. I was never a cleaner as such but many of my jobs involved cleaning as part of my duties. I have always taken great satisfaction in cleaning. In fact I listened to this while cleaning my house in Spain. Cleaners are just as important to society as people who run businesses, educate us or keep us healthy. They always get a nod and a smile from me. xo

Yes! They often feel so invisible too - even of lesser value to society. Thank you so much for being one of those who sees us when we clean.

Your observations about people are so good. I like how you describe them and their situations. Not many people can do that with clarity.

I agree about saying thank you to those who serve us. They are often surprised, followed by a positive look on their face. It can go a long way toward making their day more tolerable.

Thank you so much Jim! I am writing my podcast for this weekend today and struggling to stand back and watch- observe and report - this time. Sometimes I just want to smack things!!
