'A personal letter to everyone' is an oxymoron if ever there was one. I can't be anything but personal. And you, my dear reader, are not everyone. You are not just anyone.
I'm happy to hear that you are taking care to make sure that you are happy as well. if social media was your full time job it would be one thing, but the work it takes to do all of this has become and second and third job for you and causing you to stress. you're doing the right thing by doing what's right for you, and we are lucky to still have access to the farm and your days there
The blog is a given - I have been doing it so long I think the posts write themselves. Then every now and then i push out - searching somehow. Taking you all with me. Then I settle back to farming. It works. It is life!
What’s right for you is right for us. I began planning weekly meals during lock down in the UK and l would now not have it any other way. Black piglets, beyond excited. Long live the farmy blog, beautiful words and pictures. Thank you so much.
Tima is and always has been a real 'character,' snatching my bag of apples! And Jude with his big nose where it didn't belong is no slouch either. But still a sweetheart sitting on command.Where do the little white pigs get the energy to run in this heat? As usual I learned today there is such a thing as a tickler and what it does. Also turkeys don't "flock" like ducks but roost in trees. AND they are fly-free! Amazing!! I worry about Quacker though. Would a bastard mink get her?
Things are looking good on the farm. As it should be. Nature is doing everything it can to grow and thrive. I support your changes to streamline your writing and videos. I’ll be happy with whatever you give us.
GUMBOOT! We call ordinary black tea gumboot in NZ. In England I would say builders tea. Black with a dash of milk. Darjeeling is my fav! What is your favorite tea?
That is a very good tip. Use up what you have! Lucky for me Our john likes to shop so I seldom have to- and we are so far from the shops that I feel I am playing Chopped every night!

You are endlessly welcome, Andy. Thank YOU!
I need to do it more often - prep meals. I am hot and filthy and worn out at the end of the day!
God I hate that!

Only creatures missing: Boo and Ton.
Quacker has been free for years now. So I hope she is canny about Bastard Mink. Ed can only hope!
I got mail today!
I am also happy to hear this!! You do what's best for your well being!!
Jude sits on command wow!!
I do remember "walking " soybean fields and picking rocks out of fields before planting.
Take care and enjoy your day!!
Walking the fields is strangely satisfying! Contemplative. And hot! Picking rocks is interesting!

Thank you for the kind words Jim! - and yes! Things are growing fast! Especially the weeds!
What sort of tea are you drinking there?

I wrote a long letter just now and forgot to post an address or name.
