TKG Take Ten: Friday : Hogs wag their tails
They do! Especially when they are eating their hay. Lots of it. It is a little known fact that pigs eat hay. And grass. And the roots of the grass.
Hand held. Again. With me sitting on a bucket.

Boo. Nanny Boo, is minding me. Then when I become too boring he goes off and minds the pigs and then when the pigs move him off he comes back to me. Poor BooBoo, a farm dogs life is so busy.
Especially when it comes to protecting these huge hogs from the chickens. Do you see him giving that black chook the look. Those two words rhyme by the way in NZ’ld. Chook and Look.
Right at the end I had to speak out loud to get Boo to sit still and not bash the camera! I don’t usually do that. I feel that my voice shifts the balance.
Now that it is a little warmer the birds are tweeting about again. So different from those silent frozen sub zero days. I wonder where they (the wild birds) go in a cold snap other that the chook house.
Have a great evening!

If upgrading is not possible – and I completely understand if it's not – and I am so grateful when you can - consider SHARING. There might be someone in your community who could use the comfort of spending 10 minutes on the farm. Let's spread gentleness during these tumultuous times.
We've been watching a Red Fox some mornings out behind our house. One day about 3 weeks ago we saw 3 of them.
Also, the Grey Squirrels are chasing each other all the time up and down the trees and tree-to-tree. My wife commented quietly 'Time for sex.' I hoped she meant for us. But, I think it was meant about the squirrels. :-)
Boo just wanted to be helpful.
glad you are making those travel plans and the farm will all be okay
