too cold for the phone is too cold for me
You and I are back on the farm. And I had intended to have a TKG Take Ten for you. But. Leaving a phone outside to record in sub freezing temperatures is not a good idea apparently.
It might just shut off. And then it did. So after warming the phone back up I took a couple of short videos for you. Then the internet went on a go slow then I lost my MIND. Farming is great. Tech: not so great.
So TKG Take Ten + BedTime Stories is on hiatus for a week. As I get our new book prepped, rehearsed and ready for reading.
To calm my mind today I gave myself some rehearsal time with Wind in the Willows. You are going to love that BedTime Story. BooBoo and TonTon (farm dogs) were enthralled as I read to them. They wanted to be messing about in boats immediately.
As a consolation prize I have taken a few short videos for you. Because that is what I do when I am not reading bedtime stories. And remember; all my work is right now. I refuse to load content ahead of time - my mind just will not go there, my comms with you are not a business, everything I offer to you is absolutely current. And designed to give your mind a break from the hurly burly of life. (Though if you choose to become a paid subscriber I won’t argue). ❤️
I talk about sustainable lifestyles over at my blog and you can’t sustain any kind of healthy lifestyle without building in some kind of peace. Intentional peaceful balance: A little nature. A glass of wine. A good book. Ten minutes watching the farmy, or listening to me reading you a bedtime story. Lots of kids are listening with their parents and grandparents and aunties too which I LOVE! Just you and you - quietly.
So we are starting with cows!
And on to the PopPops
Aren’t these little pigs just so Huggable. But very messy. Everywhere is their toilet which is not very pig like. Filthy little bastards but so cute.
There a number of little shorts like this on my utube channel. I call my utube channel: The Cupboard - because that is where I store these kind of things for use on other platforms, but anyone can pop in to see. Like me: The Cupboard is very eclectic. It cannot make up its mind what category it belongs in.
OK. I am on the farm until late Feb. We are going to pack in as much farm life for you as possible. See you Sunday for the newsletter!
Have a gorgeous evening.

I bet the stove felt wonderful once you could get back inside for a warm up :)
I've never seen a better explanation of why NY should be held in Spring instead of the dead of Winter...
