My doctor office visits are never so imaginative. I have one in 3 weeks and will try to make it so.

What animal would your doctor be?!

She would be a Labrador. The nurse assistant a Border Collie.

What a hilarious pig’s tail!! Took me a bit of reading to get it, but so entertaining, thank you. Poor old Jude, what a shock he’s going to get. He’ll be trying even harder to steal Freebee’s food🐷

Let me know which part was not clear. This is the problem with writing a short story in a weekend with no money for an editor.

Something that makes perfect sense to me might confuse another person. And it is hard for me to step back when I am working so fast.

A fun read so nicely narrated I felt part of the cast... not a fly on the wall -that would be dull- but maybe a Willy Wagtail perched on the windowsill gathering titbits of news!

Aha! A Willy wagtail! I have never heard of this bird. Sounds intriguing. I will look it up!

Indigenous Australian lore is the Willy Wagtail bird is a gossiper who eavesdropped around the camps!

Love it! I think The Mrs would love a bit of gossip!

I wasn't sure whether the patient was Jude or Wai Wai, and Wally is a new member, but That Pig surely had to be Tima...

Expand full comment

Yes! Tima is a classic!! Just a bit of fun.

I laughed too - especially writing The Mrs as so distracted and judgmental. Her character made me laugh!
