You found it. You found your voice already. Read on for the Garden with a Country Heart. The Elegant Frugal Kitchen weekly recipe. Thinking of typewriters. Good news. BedTime Stories. Tons. Good morning!
Why have I never thought of frying meat loaf in butter? Honestly, what I've missed out on all these years. And that sandwich will be in my dreams tonight.
Good day Ceci.........Well.....I guess I found you. I am a little slow at this computer thing and at my age I am just fine with knowing a little bit about it.....But, I am so glad I will still be able to see your posts on a regular basis.
Great advice on writing; compassionate and true. And I like the little nostalgia trip down typewriter lane. I can remember the day I upgraded from a clunky little second hand one to a sleek Olivetti, bought duty free in Aden on the ship to Europe via the Suez canal. It sang like a soprano as I tapped the keys, unlike the croaky base of my first one - which was surely a baby Remington.
So many people get tangled up trying to sound ‘like a writer’ instead of just talking to the page.
The meatloaf recipe feels like your writing advice. No rigid rules, ‘use what you’ve got and make it taste like yours.’ The half vegetable version is happening in my kitchen this week.
Wish me luck, Cecilia, and have a good week ahead.

The outsides of the meatloaf caramalise most deliciously. And you know me. I will fry up anything!
My Mom fried everything in tons of butter. No olive oil back then! So I have quite the love of fried things!
I'm so glad you use your voice. Meatloaf sandwiches sound delicious, too. Have a good week.
Good morning, Hans!
Happy Monday or whatever day it is by now they are all running together so quickly!
Right? Tuesday here! I am living in your future. 😂😂

Oh. Good job! So good you found me here! And it is super easy to comment too! Have a great evening!
The first album my brother bought was Meatloaf Bat out of hell and my opera loving mum loved it.
Your meatloaf looks tasty, I think my wife's one uses Worcester Sauce for the tang - its always a good week when those puppies get made.
Worcester- yes. I need to get some in my pantry here.

An Olivetti! Yes I remember those too! Typing on a laptop is so different. Such a different action!
