And you, Neela!! Have a lovely week. I am back in the city garden as of ten minutes ago preparing to fly out to Melbourne day after tomorrow. No rest for the wicked!
Such a lovely full read. Felt like we shared a cup of tea. I love it that you are making your own maple syrup. Maple syrup has always made my heart sing. I adore it. More than honey. More than sugar. More than any other sweet thing. And I love your pile of salt. I will have to try that the next time we are in Noirmoutier where they abound in salt flats. Breakfast is exciting. I agree with both Poo and Piglet. x
Making salt takes a while. But is SO satisfying. Good morning from Peka Peka! I am off back into Wellington today and it is raining. The perfect time to leave the beach.
Making salt is so easy! I don’t know why it is not more common amongst people who live by the sea. Thank you for the comment Hans. Enjoy the last of your day.
I just found the comments box! (was expecting a big button under SHARE.) I loved finding out about salt-making. If I was still living at my bach by the sea gardening and surviving on little, I would definitely try it.
The photo of you with your little one in the bowl of water reminded me of my younger self. My son looked just like your little one, I used an identical bowl and crouched down just like that — and was a solo parent! What light years we have travelled since then.
You remind me of Johnny Appleseed who planted trees wherever he wandered. You and your green fingers are showing the way for others. I hope the little tomato plant thrives.
Love this!
Thank you Sharon!! Have a great afternoon!
It pays to stick to the process, right, Cecilia?
The best things in life take time, patience, and a little bit of effort, and sometimes, it's worth getting your hands dirty.
'weeds are just misunderstood plants.' - We all need a little transplanting from time to time!
Have a good week ahead.

Safe travels my friend :)
