I watched for a bit and then I closed my eyes to listen. My thoughts fell upon wondering what I would do if the waves simply stopped their movement, stopped being waves and the sound ceased. Would my eyes open and see only a never ending puddle of water reaching the horizon... I cannot imagine a sea without the sound.
