I feel confident(famous last words) that Quacker will succumb to the ducklings’ charms. She has been top(only) duck for a while but won’t be able to resist the lure for much longer! It’s always good to be top duck for a while!🦆

She is loving them now - but still slightly away. Which is sweet.

I like how they nip off a bit of leaf then immediately get some water.

Yes - they need that water to wash it down. So sweet!

Oh my goodness! That is the most beautiful video footage ever! The ducklings are enchanting - that can almost make a video clip perfection alone. But your camera sure did catch the sounds and the beautiful textures and colours of the afternoon. Wow! Wow! wow!

They look so fresh and clean and new! Just charming==and growing so fast. I didn't know ducks eat leaves. Nor did I know they nee water--I thought they just liked it a lot! Love learning from you. Also, their noses close when they dunk their heads in water. Wish you had a glass bowl so we could see the closed eyes! LOL

I am not even sure if they close their eyes underwater ! What a lovely thought to have a glass bowl - I need to think on that one.

I am not sure - possibly a pig or a rooster. They are wary of both.
