I love this Cecilia. We didn't have electricity or running water when I grew up, and I don't think I could go back to that. I am however careful with my consumption of these things. I do admire you for going without for ten days. Bravo!

Your bach holidays sound wonderful. Such happy memories of childhood freedom... how fortunate are we to have been there and done that. Your podcast reminded me that camping is one of my happy places both childhood memories when the accoutrements were very basic, and these days comparably glamping but getting away from it all is the significant part. I can't tell you how happy making damper in a campfire made me!

There is a completeness when we settle into the natural world. Do you think? I am not a camper but a day on the farm and a day without electricity will bring me the same kind of peace. Allowing on a body to relax back into its old rhythms/

Aren'tt they wonderful lessons- the ones that allow is to say - No - I actually think I will manage without that!! Your holiday home sounds wonderful! What joyous memories they must be!
