"It's so quiet." said the man when he got out of his car. So quiet. Then he sat on the rocking chair by the barn and really listened. 'Ah.' He said "Now I hear the farm."
Deb, I had to go back to see the tree with its curly branches. Didn't notice that before. They are really cute--so curious and busy. In one place for a while then take a notion to dash off and sometimes just the 4. The 5th is off somewhere else. Funny like tykes.
Predictably, I am very fond of the title of this post. xxx Also, honestly, oh to be a pig on your farm. They look so happy, so free, so healthy. And the sound is intoxicating. Not only that, it was exactly what I needed to hear today. You have no idea. I remember when you started this with the idea that just 10 wordless minutes could be so healing. Well, for me, they are. Thank you!
Pigs grow very fast going from piglet to market weight near 200 lbs. in 6-7 months. Imagine if we humans did that.
Oh Lordy!!
wonderful
Aren’t they though?!
Clever device !
Yes. That did cross my mind. 🤭
Lucky little pigs, and him for experiencing those lovely sounds!
Him and his family had a great time. The little boy asked if I had a llama with a long neck . I think he thought he was at a zoo. !!

That is a twisted willow. They will grow until November and probably be about 250+ pounds by then.
The power of the bucket!
