It was lovely to hear this chapter. Your presentation was soothing as well as engaging. I never read Wind in the Willows as a child nor did I read it to my children. Such a loss. Thank you for sharing it with me now.

Thank you, Shari. One of the reasons I started BedTime stories for us grown ups was to give us a little down time from the hurly burly of life. No-one is yelling. No-one is trying to teach you anything. A space to listen gently and relax a bit. To get in touch with our inner child (if that does not sound too 'naff).😂 Wind in the Willows is a delight to read too, believe me, I am loving it as much as you. Thank you for the comment - it means a lot to hear from listeners!

Thank you Cheryl! I have just this minute finished recording Chapter 9 of Wind in the Willows - narrating is such an immersive experience it is almost hard to stop!

Thank you for the gift of your lovely voice. Did you know you have one of my favourite accents?! Yours is tied with people from SA.

New Zealand, Australia and South Africa have similar accents - though of course NZ has the most mellow!

It's true, and it's not only the accent sounds but the tone of voice that makes it lovely to listen to.
