Chapter Six of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Read by Cecilia Buys-Wheeler Gunther
Sustainable is a big word, it comes into play in a lot of situations. To sustain our busy lifestyles we need to balance them with some down time. A rest for the brain. And what better way to give our brains a rest than to balance the wild with the settled and listen to a short bedtime story.
A chapter at a time.
All my audio is unedited. I leave the real in. As my small protest of real over artificial. Imagine that even being a thing now?! Having to point out REAL being realer than ARTIFICIAL. But this is the world we live in. We are working with it, right?
I have discovered that I really love reading to you and there are hundreds of people - real people - listening to me reading Alice three times a week. Isn’t that wonderful. Aren’t you wonderful. Isn’t it wonderful that we found each other.
This is not my favorite chapter in Alice’s journey though it does introduce the Cheshire Cat and that grin. In my memory of reading this book as a child the Cheshire Cat looms large. And the way the cat vanishes is so good! What do you think?
I am recording Christmas presents now. If you would like your short story recorded for your person let me know. I know AI voices are cheap but real people’s voices are so much better. (And to be fair I am pretty cheap too!). PM me.
Go to my Blog the kitchens garden for daily news. I am in Melbourne this month working on our new project The Compact Kitchens Garden.
A subscription would be a great gift! Christmas is coming!
Have a gorgeous day.
